2006 Memorandum Submitted by New Yorkers for Smaller Classes

In 2006, Leonie Haimson, Executive Director of Class Size Matters, wrote this Amicus Brief during the CFE lawsuit on behalf of the coalition, New Yorkers for Smaller Classes. In the brief, Haimson argues the court must maintain oversight and accountability over the distribution of Contracts for Excellence Funds for New York City class sizes.
