CM Robert Jackson letter to State re failure of C4E process

On January 8, 2013, Chair of the Committee on Education, Concilmember Robert Jackson, wrote a letter to State Education Commissioner King on behalf of NYC students. In his letter, Councilmember Jackson urges the Commissioner to, “hold New York City accountable to the public process demanded by the [Contracts for Excellence] law, and if the City is to receive these funds, the DOE must show greater efforts in reducing class size, as the law requires.”
